“ Quite a nice place. The service staff are nice and responsive to the WhatsApp. The lasagna and tiramisu are v good. The tomato paste is nice and not too sweet nor acidic. The tiramisu is a v big portion that can easily serve 3 and we can taste the rum and coffee, best with some coffee. If you like a lot of salad sauce, the ceasar salad would suit your taste. Chicken parmigiana was crispy with the nice tomato paste again. However, the fries is overrated, it's not as crispy as what others said and came mildly warm, not even hot. But the traffic there is bad. Be prepared to wait for Grab for 30 mins. All in, a nice place. ”
“ Loka Batam is definitely one of the standout cafes in the city, great food, cozy vibes, and a beautiful setting. We tried the Caesar salad, pasta, and pizza, and both were superb, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The ambience is warm and inviting, with a stylish, aesthetic interior that makes it a lovely spot to hang out or catch up with friends. One small downside is the table size, it looks great, but it felt a bit cramped once all our plates arrived. Still, for a café in Batam, Loka really delivers in both taste and atmosphere. Worth a visit if you’re in town! ”
“ Fine dining. Cozy ambience. Spacious. Middle up grade. Reasonable price. Tasty. Quite big portion. Family and friends restaurant. Wheelchair friendly. ”
“ Recommended restaurant in Batam if you are looking for good western food, especially italian food. One of the best pizza & french fries we had in Batam. Next will try pasta. The atmosphere was nice & cozy. We went for lunch on Sunday it was not crowded. Kindly note they open strict at 12 PM. ”
“ Very decent food, had the duck ragu pasta and truffle fries. The Conrad cocktail we had was well made too. Service was a little bit spotty, had to ask for extra Chili sauce 3 separate times for it to come. Overall the ambiance and decent food makes this a food spot worth visiting ”
“ Had dinner at LOKA Batam months ago (i only have time to review it now) and tried the duck ragu pasta, lasagna, quattro formaggi pizza, and tiramisu. Definitely enough portions for a table of two (we even had leftovers to takeout). 1. Our favorite was the lasagna. The meat layers were rich and flavorful and peppery, and the tomato sauce tied everything perfectly together. 2. The duck ragu didn’t really work for me. The pappardelle felt too dense and thick (not in an al dente way but just uneven, cheap pasta), and the sauce was a bit too sweet, overpowering the duck instead of complementing it. 3. You can’t really go wrong with a quattro formaggi. They made it bianca type with no tomato sauce which i like. I personally love blue cheese. They sold me at that. Perfect pairing of sweet and sour and savory from the maple syrup and the 4 types of cheese. 4. As for the tiramisu, it fell a bit flat. The ladyfinger was too dry, like it hadn’t soaked long enough. I prefer tiramisu that’s been left to marinate overnight. And i couldn’t really taste the combination of mascarpone and vanilla in it. Lovely ambience though, they were playing ICU by coco jones so i’ll give another extra one star for that alone. ”
“ overall a pretty nice dinner date experience! had the pasta duck ragu which was really good! had a smokey taste to it and the tomato base was quite appetising the steak was a slight let down considering it was one of the more expensive items on the menu. ordered a medium but got more towards medium well- well done. the tiramisu with rum was the highlight of the meal. solid cream to cake ratio i think service staff could have been a bit more attentive to the customers sitting at the outdoor space but all were polite ”
“ Ambience was really nice, we sat at their outdoor seating, which was actually still air conditioned but had a greenhouse kinda look and vibe. We ordered the sirloin steak and their duck ragu pasta to share amongst the 2 of us. The pasta was delicious, portion was just nice. The steak was a little too overcooked for our liking although we ordered a medium well but overall the taste together with the mushroom sauce was not too bad. We tried their tiramisu as well which was surprisingly good, in fact maybe one of the better tiramisus I’ve tried. Would highly recommend trying it if you visit! Staff were friendly but it took quite awhile to get the attention of the service staff, perhaps because it was a little busy during dinner hour. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meal here! ”
